BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN LANÇA “TRACKS II: THE LOST ALBUMS”

Sete discos inéditos de Bruce Springsteen chegam hoje no aguardado “Tracks II: The Lost Albums”, pela Sony Music. Com um conjunto de 83 músicas, “The Lost Albums” preenche fantásticos capítulos da extensa carreira de Springsteen – ao mesmo tempo que oferece uma visão inestimável da sua vida e obra como artista. “‘The Lost Albums‘ “eram discos completos, alguns deles até ao ponto de serem misturados e não lançados”, disse Springsteen. “Há anos que toco estas música para mim e para amigos próximos. Da exploração lo-fi de “LA Garage Sessions ’83” – servindo como elo crucial entre “Nebraska” e “Born in the U.S.A.” – ao loop de bateria e sons de sintetizadores de “Streets of Philadelphia Sessions”, “The Lost Albums” oferece um contexto sem precedentes em 35 anos prolíficos (1983-2018) de composição e gravação caseira de Springsteen. “A capacidade de gravar em casa sempre que queria permitiu-me entrar numa grande variedade de direções musicais diferentes”, explicou Springsteen. Ao longo do set, essa experimentação sonora toma a forma de trabalho de trilha sonora de filme (para um filme que nunca foi feito) em “Faithless“, combos country com pedal steel em “Somewhere North of Nashville”, contos fronteiriços ricamente tecidos em “Inyo” e noir de meados do século em “Twilight Hours”. Paralelamente ao anúncio de “The Lost Albums”, um primeiro olhar sobre a coleção também chega hoje com “Rain In The River” — que vem do álbum perdido “Perfect World“, e resume na perfeição como a The Street Band estava pronta os concertos de arena deste projeto.

“The Lost Albums” chega em edição limitada de nove LPs, sete CDs e formatos digitais – incluindo embalagens distintas para cada disco inédito, com um livro de capa dura de 100 páginas com fotos raras de arquivo, notas sobre cada álbum perdido do ensaísta Erik Flannigan e uma introdução pessoal sobre o projeto do próprio Springsteen. Um conjunto complementar – “Lost And Found: Selections from The Lost Albums” – conta com 20 destaques de toda a coleção, chegando também em dois LPs ou um CD. “The Lost Albums” foi compilado por Springsteen com o produtor Ron Aniello, o engenheiro Rob Lebret e o produtor supervisor Jon Landau na Thrill Hill Recording em Nova Jersey.
